In this project, we taught the kids about the day of the dead. This lesson was about the Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) it is a two-day holiday that reunites the living and dead. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their departed family members that have passed. ... Day of the Dead is a rare holiday for celebrating death and life.

In this project, we mixed clay with wildflower seeds and potting soil. By doing this we are giving back to the earth along with learning about different cultures and practicing our artistic skills.
